Our on-grounds non-public school serves students with a designated non-public school Individualize Education Plan (IEP). The small class size and high staffing ratio provide individualization of the learning experience for each child.
We offer highly individualized instruction that is guided by each student's IEP, state standard curriculum guidelines and individual assessments. We provide a safe, nurturing and structured environment with academic and therapeutic supports. Our school, staff and curriculum are certified by the Department of Education to provide instruction for up to 30 children, grades K-12.
Our mission is to prepare students academically, socially, emotionally and behaviorally to transition successfully to a public school setting. We strive to create a safe, healthy, positive and successful experience for each of our students so they can realize the importance of education and improve the quality of their lives. Students are invited to participate in our team-centered approach that includes parents/guardians, teachers, therapists, school district staff, and social service workers.
Our instruction primarily spans five core curriculum subjects:
- Language Arts
- Social Studies
- Physical Education
- Digital Photography
- Character Education
- Work Study
