Rebekah Children's Services Adoption and Foster Care has over 30 years of experience and knowledge to share with our families. Our dedicated staff are here to support not only the children in our care but all of our foster and adoptive families as well.
Rebekah Children’s Services Foster Care and Adoption Program, Family Linkage, is excited about the opportunity to walk side by side new Foster Families as they support and love at risk children in our community. Rebekah Children’s Services is looking for a families who are willing to open their homes and hearts to a child in need and work as part of a team to support children and their families find strength and success.
Rebekah Children's Services Foster Care program began in 1987 and we added Adoptions in 2002. Our program is designed to support not only the children we serve but our Foster and Adoptive families as well. Our dedicated staff is ready to train and support new families give children in need hope for a better future.
Our Foster Care and Adoption Program is staffed by knowledgeable, dedicated employees who together have over 40 years of experience serving the community’s most vulnerable children and their families. We are committed to providing personalized support to each child that comes into our care. Currently, our program accepts between 30 to 35 Foster Families at a time, enabling us to have meaningful relationships and continuous support of each family. We often continue to have lifelong relationships with each of our Foster Care and Adoptive Families and love to watch them continue to grow and thrive throughout the years.
We are currently seeking families in the following areas:
- Santa Clara County (especially: San Jose, Santa Clara, Campbell, Gilroy, and Morgan Hill)
- Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, and Alameda Counties
As a Foster Care and Adoptive Family, you'll receive:
- Frequent consultations with staff.
- 24-hour telephone support.
- Financial Assistance for the care of the child.
- Access to services for the children in your care.
- Information and support on long term adoptive child benefits.
Steps to Becoming a Foster and Adoptive Family
Step 1: Contact Us
Step 2: Orientation Meeting
Step 3: Initial Interview
Attend an initial interview with a staff social worker to assess making the right match for your family.
Step 4: Application
Complete an application and background check.
Step 5: Training
Attend our Pre-Service Training; this training is free to our families. Trainings are held on a Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm. Contact us for the dates of our next class schedule.
Step 6: Family Assessment
The Family Assessment is a way for us to get to know more about you and your family so that we can help find a child for you to love and make a part of your family.
Step 7: Approval
Congratulations!!! You made it, and are now an approved Resource Family!

Adoption and Foster Care Links
Attend an Orientation
Evening group orientations will be held on February 21, 2019 and March 21, 2019 from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please R.S.V.P with our family recruiter.
