Ashley Meeks

Clinical Program Manager-Differential Response

I am honored to share my journey of professional growth, transitioning from a clinician to a clinical program manager within a span of four years. My career trajectory reflects not only my dedication to personal development but also the support and opportunities provided by my organization. As a clinician, my primary focus was on delivering high-quality care to our clients. I dedicated myself to honing my clinical skills, building rapport with clients, and collaborating effectively with colleagues. However, I soon realized that I wanted to contribute to our organization's broader mission in a more impactful way. With this goal in mind, I actively sought out opportunities for advancement and professional development. I engaged in additional training and education to expand my knowledge. I also sought mentorship from my current supervisor to gain experience and guidance. Through hard work, determination, and the support of my colleagues and supervisors, I was promoted to the role of lead clinician after two years. In this position, I not only continued to provide direct client care but also took on additional responsibilities, such as supervising and mentoring junior clinicians, coordinating team meetings, and assisting in program development. My transition to clinical program manager came after three years of dedicated effort and growth. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Differential Response Program within our organization. This includes strategic planning, staff supervision, program evaluation and much more. I also collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and optimal client care. My journey from clinician to clinical program manager has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and the support I have received along the way. I am proud to be part of an organization that values professional development and invests in the growth of its employees. I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in my role and contributing to the success of our organization for years to come.

My career journey started at RCS in October of 2019. At the time I really wanted to find an environment that supported and encouraged career growth, my self-care and my dedication to my family. RCS has provided me with the opportunity to be present for my own family’s needs, and flourish within my career. Working for RCS you find the right balance with an amazing support system. You continuously feel encouraged to achieve your own career goals, while at the same time reminded to take care of yourself and your loved ones. In the past year my toddler was diagnosed with Autism and my family was thrown into an unknown world of different types of therapies and activities. RCS provided me with the security and comfort to start and explore my son’s treatment. I only hope, that I and the rest of RCS, provides that same type of comfort and security to the clients and families we provide services for. I began my journey are RCS as a Clinical Program Manager where I had the pleasure of supporting two clinical programs! After four years I was promoted to a director role where I continue to support clinical based programs, provide clinical supervision, and build relationship with other agencies within Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. I’m proud to tell others that I work for Rebekah Children’s Services because of the amazing and valuable services we provide our communities. I especially feel proud when others find out that I work for RCS and share their own positive experiences of my home away from home!
